Employee vs. Virtual Assistant

As an employer of a full time individual, you are responsible for the following additional expenses:
When you hire a virtual assistant, you are only responsible for paying for the actual hours worked and/or the project rate agreed upon. Virtual assistants typically provide tracking for hours they work.
Because virtual assistants work from a remote location, they provide their own equipment. In addition, they are typically considered independent contractors and cover their own taxes and expenses.
Full time employees may require a few weeks of training to get up to speed. Virtual assistants, on the other hand, are typically hired only for that specific skill set and will get up to speed much more quickly.
If an employer wants their employees to learn new skills, it is up to the employer to pay for ongoing education and training. Virtual assistants, on the other hand, understand they can increase their own value by upgrading their knowledge on their own.

I have over 20 years of administrative and executive assistant experience. In 2018, I decided it was time to start a family and I wanted nothing more than to be able to stay home while still working. This helped me to earn knowledge as well as income to help support my family. Since then, I have built an experience team of VA’s that work directly with me.
I have an associate degree and I am a Certified Medical Assistant with 15 years of experience working in different physicians’ offices. I know what it takes to run all aspects of a medical office.
I also help run my parent’s family business and have been doing so for many years. I have a lot of experience of basic bookkeeping and everything that is needed to run a business.
